Reiki healing is a wonderful holistic system of hands on healing, which helps relax the body, balance the emotions and clear the mind.
what is reiki?
Reiki is a Japanese term for “Universal Life Energy”, derives its healing power through sacred symbols from ancient Tibetan Buddhist texts. Taught in the U.S. since the 1930s, Reiki has become the defacto standard for hands-on healing, and is used in many hospitals for relaxation and pain management.
Life force energy is channelled through the hands of the Reiki practitioner into the subject's seven chakras which are located in the trunk of the body, rising up into the head to the crown.
But, while the practitioner does channel the energy, the practitioner does not perform the actual healing process. The healing is accomplished by the person who receives the treatment. The extent of the healing that can occur depends on the willingness of the person to be open to the energy and to releasing the blockages that exist in the mental, emotional, spiritual and physical body.
1/2 hr session is £15 and 1 hr is £25
